Welcome! to the Heart of Texas World War 2 Gold Star Honor Roll virtual memorial.

Honoring, remembering and thanking God for these souls who gave all for America and the Heart Of Texas.

The lists of honorees I have are those that I found from several sources:
County Memorials and Monuments, Newspapers, The War Dept. records, County Historical Societies, National Archives and Records Administration, but mainly FamilySearch.org, and others.  The honoree may have been born in one of the counties, lived or worked there, or his parents were residents of the county.  Anyway, there did not seem to be any requirements of nativity for an honoree to be listed on the county memorials.

There is a mini-bio and details of death of the veteran, just click on the NAME link in the County List.

Casualty deaths from 7 Dec 1941 through 31 Dec 1946.
