Griffice asn-38420670 a Divorced, with dependents white male born Texas in 1912 residing in Eastland County, Texas working as a metal worker with a grammar school education enlisted from civilian life into the US Army as a private at Houston, Texas on 9 April 1943.

Private Murphy S. Griffice 38420670 US Army SCU Camp Papago, Arizona. He was stationed at the POW camp in Arizona until his honorable discharge on 13 January 1944. He later died in the VA Hospital in Waco, Texas of a disease on 22 March 1944. He was buried in the Pioneer Cemetery↗ at Ranger, Eastland County, Texas on 23 March 1944.

He was a civilian and a WWII veteran when he died and therefore does not qualify as a WWII casualty.
