Devine, Texas, as his next of kin contact. Jesus J. Acosta asn-38027227 a single white male born Texas in 1915 residing in Cameron County, Texas working with a grammar school education enlisted from civilian life into the US Army as a private at Ft Sam Houston, Texas on 10 February 1941. .

I know why this veteran was initially on the Callahan HR, his NARA KIA plaque has Hometown: Callahan County, but I can't find anywhere else that his name is associated with Callahan County, Texas. He is listed on the Cameron County 1946 War Dept casualty list correctly. Sorry for any inconvience.
