I have removed Pvt John A. Sidles from Brown County simply because we have not found any evidence that he existed. His name has not been found in draft registration, enlistment records, MIA records, or newspapers.
He is not listed on the original WWII memorial at Coggin Park, Brownwood, Texas, or the War Dept casualty list of 1946.

I do not know why I did not research it at the beginning, the name was given to me by a trusted person. I am sorry.
