Removal of Clovis F. Farrell

I have removed 1st Lt. Clovis F. Farrell from Brown County's original Honor Roll simply because we have not found any evidence that he had connection to Brown County. His hometown San Francisco, California. He is listed as a casualty on the Brown County list, but he is not listed on the original WWII memorial at Coggin Park, Brownwood, Texas.

Clovis F. Farrell born 6 Jan 1901 in Emory, Texas to Martha Jane Wilson (b. 1872 Tupelo, Mississippi - d. 1918 Lindsay, Oklahoma) and Walter Thomas Farrell (b. 1870 Guntown, Mississippi - d. 1946 Lindsay, Oklahoma).

Married Erma Cardoza Thomas (b. 20 Sep 1898 California- d. 3 Aug 1978 San Joaquin County, California) 28 Apr 1938 in San Francisco, California. Cardozo is maiden and Thomas is first marriage.

1910 Census Haskell County Oklahoma age 9 living with parents, two brothers and one sister. 1920 Census McClain County Oklahoma age 19 living with Father and two brothers. 1930 Census San Francis County California age 29 as Soldier at Fort Winfield Scott. 1940 Census Honolulu Hawaii age 39 as Soldier married at Fort Ruger. On newspaper.com there is a article about MPs in London, Ft Worth paper Jun 7 1944 and June 9 1944 also in other paper same article, no mention of Brownwood, Texas.

I believe the War Dept made the error of listing him on the wrong County and State. Golden Gate National Cemetery
